What Is PSPS Care Coordination?

PG&E has partnered with 2-1-1s to help identify customers who are especially vulnerable during Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) and Enhanced Powerline Safety Setting (EPSS) events.

Who Is Eligible?
  • Are you a consumer of PG&E electricity?
  • Are you prepared for a power outage that could last 4 hours up to 3 days?

If you are a consumer of PG&E electricity, and unprepared for a power outage that could last 4 hours up to 3 days, you are eligible for Care Coordination.

PSPS Care Coordinators can help before, during, and after an event.

Before a PSPS Event, Care Coordinators Can Assist With:

  • Emergency Planning Assistance - Personal Safety Plan
  • Registration for Alerts and Notifications
  • Medical Baseline Program Enrollment
  • CARE or FERA Enrollment

During a PSPS Event, Care Coordinators Can Assist With:

  • Locating a Community Resource Center
  • Connections to PSPS Resources

After a PSPS Event, Care Coordinators Can Assist With:

  • Power restoration updates
  • Preparing for the next PSPS event
