COVID-19 TESTING:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>There are plenty of opportunities and locations to get free COVID-19 testing in Yolo County.

\n(NEW – Effective July 24, 2020)<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0Yolo County has released an isolation order and a quarantine order.<\/p>\n

The isolation order requires all individuals with a positive COVID-19 test to comply with isolation health requirements for the length of their infection (known as the infection period).
\nThe quarantine order requires all individuals who have been in close contact with a positive COVID-19 individual to comply with quarantine health requirements.
\nThis order is intended to curb the recent increase in COVID-19 cases and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community.\u00a0See press release here<\/a>\u00a0(Espa\u00f1ol<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Effective July 13, 2020<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Per the State of CA\u2019s mandate for counties on the County Monitoring List for three consecutive days, the following sectors will be closed in Yolo County effective immediately unless they can be modified to operate outside or by pick-up:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
– Gyms and fitness centers<\/td>\n– Places of worship<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
– Personal care services (nail salons, skin care, cosmetology, electrolysis, body waxing, body art, tattoo and piercing shops)<\/td>\n– Offices for non-essential sectors<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
– Hair salons and barber shops<\/td>\n– Indoor malls<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

(Update July 9, 2020)<\/strong><\/span> Since July 8, Yolo County’s hospitals now have ICU beds available. The number of open ICU beds can fluctuate daily.\u00a0Residents should not be afraid to go to the hospital if they are in need. There is a process in place to get patients the emergency care they need during hospital surges, including ICU beds.<\/p>\n

(Effective July 8, 2020)<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Yolo County was placed on the State\u2019s County Data Monitoring List<\/a> for exceeding the metrics related to elevated disease transmission and limited hospital capacity for 3 consecutive days.<\/p>\n

(Effective July 7, 2020)<\/strong><\/span> Effective immediately, Yolo County will increase implementation of enforcement measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community.<\/p>\n

Effective May 28, 2020 the Yolo County Shelter In Place order will expire.
\nHowever, all residents are still under, and need to comply with, the State’s Stay At Home orders.<\/p>\n

Yolo County is issuing a new health order effective May 28, 2020<\/strong> (in effect until further notice) that is NOT a Shelter In Place but: 1)<\/span>\u00a0Maintains the face covering health order; 2)<\/span>\u00a0Emphasizes the importance of personal responsibility; 3)<\/span>\u00a0Continues personal health and safety guidance, such as social distancing and hygiene; and 4)\u00a0<\/span>Provides additional directives and guidance. Yolo County will be aligning with the State order and its\u00a0Four Stages to Resilience Roadmap.<\/a>\u00a0Yolo County is charting a path forward through COVID-19 that is fluid and gradual, continues to protect public health,
\nand allows the County and cities to begin reopening various businesses and organizations.<\/p>\n
