Disaster Preparedness and Relief

Whether it be a flood, fire, an extended heatwave or other type of disaster 2-1-1 Sacramento works with the Sacramento Office of Emergency Operations, City and County of Sacramento, Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD), the American Red Cross and other agencies and organizations to provide up-to-date information on available resources.

Visit www.SacramentoReady.org for information on disaster preparedness. Sacramento Ready is a regional partnership of local government working to provide emergency preparation and response information to people in the Sacramento area.

During an active emergency or disaster, check this page for current, up-to-date information and for resources that are available for response and recovery. Or check for further information on this page: www.211sacramento.org/211/current-news

Another resource for up-to-date information during an active emergency or disaster is the Sacramento Office of Emergency Services Facebook page or the National Weather Service Facebook page.
